AGREED. Not only is it Asian vs White, it’s White versus Black, Black vs Latino, Indian vs White, Latino vs White, and so on; It’s like a SUBTLE EVERYONE AGAINST EVERYONE. If you look at the groups in the library, in the dining halls in the student center, it’s everywhere. I’m from freaking Texas and I’m not even sure it’s this bad in some areas. It’s absolutely ridiculous, doesn’t the North uphold its certain credos of freedom and equality? I’ve been talking to my RA, some professors and my RD of my building who’s very involved with “Multicultural”, aka Black, projects and I’m literally planning a personal vendetta on this issue. I can’t won’t stand for it anymore. As far as I go, I look Hispanic, with my tan skin and whatever but even those Latino groups DON’T accept me, they know I’m not one of them, and I don’t know how to explain it, it’s not enough to look like them. But why should that matter? I should be able to hang out with whoever, without anyone judging me by my skin,clothing, etc.

Syracuse University is a quite segregated place, ask anyone, and it’s not the institutions that set it up like this, it’s the students.
